Free Math Tutoring

The main campus MDIC (Math Drop-in Center) is located in MG 118 and has tutors to assist in most Core Math courses. Upper division math is not tutored in these Centers, these students should contact their professors.

Note: The listing of available tutors is a service provided for convenience by Boise State University. These tutors are current students working on either a Bachelor or Master Degree. The Math Drop-in Center tutors have been departmentally approved for subject knowledge.

Tutoring for students taking Math 25 and Math 108 in the Math Learning Center is held in the Math Learning Center, located behind the Gateway Center, 1406 Chrisway Dr.

The services in the Math Drop-In Center are free. Please understand that you may have a slight wait before the tutor can help you. The tutors move from one student to the next as needed.

It is recommended that you work with other students in the same math level. Often times studying together is a benefit. Students helping students will strengthen your math skills.

If you need additional tutoring check the private tutor list. To make arrangements for a private tutor, you call any of the tutors listed and simply discuss your needs and their fees. You make all of the arrangements and you pay them directly for their services.

The tutorial staff is comprised of successful, experienced students who have been trained to help you master difficult concepts, identify key ideas, and prepare effectively for exams.
