Private Tutor List
A list of departmentally approved tutors in a variety of subject areas is posted on this website. Students contact the tutor, discuss the fee that is charged and make all arrangements of when and where to meet.
Note: The listing of available tutors is a service provided for convenience by Boise State University. These tutors are current students working on either a Bachelor or Master Degree or private citizens that may or may not be licensed to teach. All tutors have been departmentally approved for subject knowledge but are not employees of Boise State University and have not had background checks into their skills for tutoring.
Discretion is advised when utilizing these services.
Private Tutors charge an average rate of $10-$15 per hour (some tutors may charge more), which the student is responsible for paying. All arrangements for private tutoring must be made directly with the tutor.
