Private Tutor List
A list of departmentally approved tutors in a variety of subject areas is posted on this website. Students contact the tutor, discuss the fee that is charged and make all arrangements of when and where to meet.
Note: The listing of available tutors is a service provided for convenience by Boise State University. These tutors are current students working on either a Bachelor or Master Degree or private citizens that may or may not be licensed to teach. All tutors have been departmentally approved for subject knowledge but are not employees of Boise State University and have not had background checks into their fitness for teaching.
Discretion is advised when utilizing these services.
The tutorial staff is comprised of successful, experienced students who have been trained to help you master difficult concepts, identify key ideas, and effectively study for exams.
Private Tutors charge an average rate of $10-$15 per hour (some tutors may charge more), which the student is responsible for paying. All arrangements for private tutoring must be made directly with the tutor.

All Tutors have been approved by the Department.
